Realization

You always hear people say you never know what u have till it’s gone
When I was young I didn’t believe and didn’t understand what it ment
But now your gone from my arms and I realize and understand to well
What I miss I still have but at the same time I no longer have
How I miss that indescribable feeling from staring into your eyes
Can only be compared to that feeling of holding your love
While staring into the clear night sky wrapped in a warm blanket
How I long for that touch like no other can give including a loving mother
The way u run your fingers through my hair and down my cheek
How you smile as you run them over my lips and the sensation of love
If I am the night you are my stars, without u I am incomplete
Without you I am nothing and I cannot shine like the night should
If I was a forest you would be my trees, when you are gone I am barren
I am nothing but the reminisce of what use to be beautiful and alive
Where I the ocean you would be my sea life, with your absence I am dead
Without you I cannot strive, you make my life beautiful and flourish
When I look into your eyes the world disappears and all I feel is love
I feel the warmth around me I feel it encase me protecting me
When you hold me I am whole and we are one and inseparable
Without you I am an empty shell waiting dormant for your return
Waiting for you to once again wrap your arms around me
Waiting for you to bring me back to live with your love
Waiting, just waiting for you, you alone, and no one but you.
